Mendoza and the Wine Region

Mendoza’s wine region is over 350,000 acres (144,000 hectares) of planted vineyards, and produces nearly two-thirds of the country’s wine.
Argentina’s most highly rated Malbec wines originate from Mendoza’s high altitude wine regions of Lujan de Cuyo and the Uco Valley.
These areas are in the foothills of the Andes mountains, with elevations of between 2,800 and 5,000 feet.

Naples, Sorrento and Amalfi Coast

The Amalfi Coast seems to be one grand balcony suspended between a sea of cobalt blue and the Lattari Mountains, in a long stretch of hollows and promontories, coves, cultivated terraces, vineyards, citrus and olive groves. It is world famous for its spectacular coastline and the picturesque towns and unique such as Praiano, Positano, Ravello and Island Capri, Sorrento and the ancient Paestum, Mount Vesuvius, the archaeological areas of Pompeii, Herculaneum and Torre Annunziata, and Naples with its largest artistic and historic treasures, with the unforgettable beauty of its natural scenery, in which the city’s entirety is framed.
